Accommodation will be reserved at The Marina Resort located 300 metres from Nelson Bay shops & marina.

The whole building was guttered in the last 18 months and totally refurbished to a very high standard.

Staying here you can walk to restaurants, the marina, along the waterfront and a bay swimming area.

A short drive will take you to Fly Point, Little Beach or Shoal Bay.

Room Totals – 12 (I have reserved 12 but can add more if available)

Room Type– 2 single beds or 1 x King bed per room

(Up to 6x) Garden Terrace rooms at $170.00 per room, per night, room only (these are ground floor with a private terrace, walk in shower)

(Up to 7x) Marina rooms at $200.00 per room, per night, room only (First Floor, partial view, private balcony, walk in shower)

Marina Ocean View rooms at $235 per room, per night, room only (uninterrupted bay view with private balcony, walk in shower)

This rate includes internet, car parking and access to the onsite pool.

Rooms are subject to availability at the time of booking. 

Each person joining the tour will be required to pay a deposit once I know how many rooms we need with balance paid closer to event. 

Itinerary will/can include all or some of the following:

·       Cruise over to Tea Gardens for lunch

·       Visit to Marine Rescue Station, museum and morning Tea at Nelson Head Tea House

·       Visit to Gan Gan Lookout

·       Visit to Birubi Beach to see the Stockon Sandhills and camels

·       Walk around Shoal Bay Headland or for energetic walk up Mt Tomaree

·       Dolphin Cruise

·       Visit to Soldiers Point

·       Visit to Fingal Bay and Barry Park to whale watching platform

·       Shopping time (some nice ladies and homeware shops)

·       Swimming Time

·       Dinner possibilities include Little Beach Boathouse, Nostimos, Atmos, Shoal Bay Country Club, The Deck

·       Lunch possibilities include Bay Harbour Café, Salt Water, Crest Café.

It promises to be a wonderful time of fun and friendship.  Please be ready to sign up at the Events Desk on the 14th of November or via the website soon after. If a quorum is achieved then a non refundable deposit of $202 per person will be payable by 10 December.

You will be issued with a separate invoice for the balance. This invoice will be payable by 20 February.
